Files

Receipts, invoices, and statements — uploaded or emailed in, parsed automatically, and attached to transactions.

The Files page (sidebar → Files) holds your receipts, invoices, and statements as PDFs and links them to transactions.

Adding files

  • Upload — click Add on the Files page, or drag PDFs anywhere into the app.
  • Email — send or forward a PDF to your company's inbound address, shown at the top of the Files page. Only PDF attachments are ingested, and the sending address must belong to a member of your company.

After upload, SaaSFlow parses each file in the background and extracts the document date, amount, and type (invoice, receipt, credit note, contract). You can correct any of these on the file's detail page.

Linking to transactions

  • From the file — click Link transactions; the picker is pre-filtered to the file's parsed amount.
  • From the transaction — the transaction detail has a Files section where you can add a PDF directly to that transaction.

Toggle Show only unassigned on the Files page to see what still needs a transaction.

Removing a file from a transaction's Files section deletes the file itself, not just the link. To detach a file but keep it, use Unassign on the Files page.
